Ecofin manages assets which are invested in the equity, equity-related and debt securities of companies in the global utility, infrastructure, alternative energy and environmental sectors. Depending on a client’s investment objectives, the firm invests in both listed and unquoted securities in developed and developing markets and pursues both long-only and long/short investment strategies.
Ecofin manages assets for clients throughout the world. The firm advises a number of managed accounts focused on utilities, infrastructure and alternative energy. These accounts are designed to meet the specific investment objectives of some of Ecofin’s larger clients.
In addition to managing segregated accounts for institutional investors, the firm manages four funds: a UK investment trust whose securities are listed on the London Stock Exchange and three long/short equity funds which are available only to qualified investors.
Although retail investors are able to invest in the securities of the UK investment trust managed by Ecofin and qualified investors may be able to invest in the long/short equity funds managed by the firm, Ecofin does not provide investment advice or fund management services to private clients or retail investors.
