HOW TO INVEST

EW&PO is an investment trust (a closed-end fund) which enjoys special tax benefits under U.K. law. Investment trusts have a fixed amount of shares in issue at any one time. As a consequence, those wishing to invest in EW&PO must normally do so by purchasing the Company's shares or other securities in the secondary market. This can be done through a stockbroker, bank or other financial intermediary.

EW&PO’s Ordinary Shares, Subscription shares, Convertible Unsecured Loan stock or Zero Dividend Preference Shares can be purchased through a stockbroker, bank or other financial intermediary authorised to deal in securities on behalf of customers

EW&PO is eligible in full to be held in a Maxi ISA and in a stocks and shares Mini ISA in the tax year 2011/2012.
