ECOFIN HEDGE FUNDS

Ecofin manages two hedge funds, each of which is organised as a master fund with one feeder.  The feeder funds are open-ended investment companies or partnerships which are available to qualified investors and which invest all of their assets in the shares of their master fund. The feeder funds and master funds are denominated in U.S. dollars.

Ecofin Global Oil & Gas Fund Limited 

Ecofin Global Oil & Gas Master Fund Limited is a hedge fund incorporated in the Cayman Islands with one feeder fund, Ecofin Global Oil & Gas Fund Limited, a company incorporated in the Cayman Islands. The Master Fund is a long/short equity fund which invests in the liquid equity and debt securities of oil & gas companies, primarily those listed in North America and Europe. The Fund was launched in September 2011.

Ecofin China Power & Infrastructure Fund Limited

Ecofin China Power & Infrastructure Master Fund Limited is a hedge fund incorporated in the Cayman Islands with one feeder fund, Ecofin China Power & Infrastructure Fund Limited, a company incorporated in the Cayman Islands. The Master Fund is along/short equity fund which invests in the liquid equity and debt securities of power, infrastructure and other utility-related companies, primarily those listed in Hong Kong and China. The Fund was launched in July 2009.

ECOFIN UCITS IV FUND

Ecofin Global Long/Short Fund

Ecofin Global Long/Short Fund is a UCIT IV sub-fund of EFMI Funds plc, an Irish registered UCITS umbrella fund, and is domiciled in Ireland. The Fund is a long/short equity fund that invests in four sub-sectors: North American utilities, European utilities, global oil and gas, and global renewable energy. The Fund was launched in February 2011.

An investment in any of the funds described above is suitable only for sophisticated investors and the promotion of these feeder funds is restricted by law in the United Kingdom to intermediate customers, market counterparties and persons who meet certain minimum financial requirements. Their promotion to U.S. investors is also restricted under U.S. law.  Similar restrictions on their promotion apply in other jurisdictions.
